Rod is a natural diplomat who possesses patience and attention to his clients important needs, real estate related or not. With over 25 years of experience in real estate, property management, and mortgage lending industries, coupled with his additional experience in insurance and financial management, Rod has the backing of expertise and knowledge that he continues to draw upon. He is skillful in handling single family and multi-family homes, commercial properties, investments properties, probates, and 1031 exchanges. He is also proficient in short sales, foreclosures and bank owned properties.
Rod's professional membership include: National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and Ventura County Association of Realtors.
Rod has lived in Ventura County for over 30 years, and is extremely rooted and knowledgeable about his neighborhood and local communities. A graduate of University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, he moved on to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 1993 from Regis University, completing his post-baccalaureate course work with a 3.833 GPA and master course work with a 4.0 GPA. He became a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit Honor Society. He completed his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law in 2019. He is a member of Delta Theta Phi of Sandra Day O'Connor Senate. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) at Washington University in St. Louis and is expected to graduate in 2021.
Rod believes in giving back to his community, so he has been volunteering his services at Santa Clara Church for over 30 years as a member and co-cantor of the contemporary music group for the 5 PM Sunday mass. He continues to inspire the younger generation by motivating them to do the same.
